Although so painfully shy as a child she couldn't speak to strangers, Parker West sang her first note in public at the age of five. It was in that moment at the microphone she discovered the unique alchemy of disappearing within artistic expression.

Once she finally found her voice it couldn’t be silenced.  Because bearing your soul through song, and connecting with people, is the sweetest of addictions.

Soulful connection can be found in the music of Lana Del Rey or the images of Jean-Michel Basquiat. West has put her soul into what she does, pretty much as anyone who wants to be heard does, with the deepest desire to connect; soulfully.

Because in the end, song and soul may very well be the same thing.
